    Hey KC

You just have to grab the crossfader knob with some pliers and give it a big ol tug it will come off and it will also do back on later without being loose – a warning through you will be able to clean the track around it but I would not get any (more!) liquid onto the crossfader itself otherwise it may affect its operation.

I started to play DJ HERO and notice that my left side of the slider makes the in game slider go right. its really annoying because Im playing on expert and slideing back and forth is required on most songs. any help would be appreciated

A suggestion to consider for future versions of your slider replacement – I’d like to see one that self-centers with springs. Noting too stout, just a couple of weak springs that would allow one to smack the slider and it would auto-return to center, but still be easy to hold for extended durations.

    Thanks!

Ohh Killboy! Nice idea! We have now got some replacement crossfaders which I have installed on one of my sets of decks and it is a bit stiffer than the original one and I really like that (no jokes here please, just move on!) but a self centering crossfader is certainly not a mod to far well worth a try!

Any idea where I can get a gold crossfader knob for the renegade edition?

After about an hour of playing my son’s crossfader just stopped functioning. How can we get a replacement crossfader?

  10. SteveAdmin on Tue, 29th Dec 2009 12:48 pm

I doubt you will be able to get a repalcement original gold knob but any rotary switch control know should fit, it just wont be gold unless you fancy spraying it first!

Thanks Steve! I will check back!

    Hi
    I don’t need a cross-fader replacement, I just don’t know where else to ask.
My DJ controller recently got alot of water on it, but im sure the controller itself is working fine. It’s the connector that doesn’t seem to be working, it won’t turn on, so I can’t synchronise my controller with the PS3. Can these be replaced? Can I fix it?
